DANCE CONVENTION
As one of the original West Coast Swing conventions, we proudly honor the roots of West Coast Swing while contributing to shaping its future. Since 1982, this iconic event is where “Legends are Made”. At the Phoenix Fourth of July Dance Convention, you will experience an unforgettable weekend with Premier champions teaching inspiring workshops and intensives. Event attendees are welcomed with an exclusive cocktail party. In addition to WSDC competitions, you will also have the opportunity for Strictly Swing and Switchly competitions, nonstop social dancing, junior programs, and epic late-night parties. Join the Breakfast Club and post your photo. All of this takes place at the breathtaking, five-star J.W. Marriott Camelback Inn Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. “The Paradise Ballroom is the most beautiful ballroom on the circuit.
- Kick off Dance Thursday with Hugo & Stacy workshop, Just for Fun J & J included in your event pass or $15 club members & $20 non members.
- Country Swing Dance competition Thursday 7:00 pm.
- COMPETITIONS Start Friday and run thru Sunday.
- Masters Meet & Greet Friday evening 11:00 pm at the Manor House (directly behind the ballroom).
- All-Star P4J Score Package: $125 includes, competition fees, Jack & Jill & All American, 2 All-Star exclusive workshops, Private Pool Party Saturday at 3pm at the Manor House. Guigo Sortica organizer of pool party.
- Fireworks display Saturday evening approximately 9:00 pm.
- All Star Pool Party Saturday, July 4th at 3pm, at The Manor House, organized by Guigo Sortica.
- Cocktail Party (full event pass holders) Saturday 6 pm - Paradise Ballroom Lobby.
- P4J ends on Sunday with a After Dance Party 7:00 pm., Hosted by the Greater Phoenix Swing Dance Club. $10 club members, $15 non members.

Top champions join together to teach, compete, entertain and amaze us — including the exclusive Champions Choice Strictly Swing where Champions choose partners from any skill level!
The highest standard of excellence is maintained by our dance competitors and judging panel for all our competitive divisions: from WSDC Jack & Jill and Strictly Swing, plus non-WSDC divisions for fun, we have a variety of contests for novice thru champion.
We offer a variety of workshops across a broad spectrum of topics and levels. Plus, we offer a fun learning environment for juniors while offering the best in late night dancing for the other dancers – lots of social dancing for everyone.
